Begun in 1981, Psychological Associates of the Black Hills is a group of licensed psychologists and counselors in the Black Hills communities of Rapid City and Custer, South Dakota. It is our objective to apply current psychological knowledge to provide quality counseling and assessment services to improve the lives of our clients. We provide counseling in the areas of depression, anxiety, behavioral problems and trauma. We conduct psychological assessments with individuals of nearly all ages in the areas of personality, behavior, learning and neuropsychology.

Dr. Mark Perrenoud Retirement
As of July 1, 2024 Dr. Mark Perrenoud has retired from Psychological Associates of the Black Hills and closed the Custer office. I am no longer accepting referrals. I want to express my appreciation for the partners I have had over the years and wish them the best. PABH continues to be a group of psychologists who provide quality services. I am also grateful to the clients I have seen over the years and their referral sources. I also appreciate all the clients, parents, and teachers who took the time to fill out the many behavioral checklists they were asked to complete over these years.
